This is the Little Bruna! Yes, that’s me!

Today I decided to take a look back to Little Bruna and write about it.

Do you know that the ‘inner child’ influences a lot in our future?

But, first, what is our ‘inner child’?

The inner child is a concept in psychology that refers to the part of an adult’s personality that still carries the emotional and psychological experiences of their childhood. It’s often seen as a metaphor for the childlike qualities, memories, and wounds that remain within us, even as we grow older.

Okay, but how the inner child impacts the dynamic of the twin flames/soulmates/whateva??

Connections like the one of twin flames happen for you to heal yourself. And how they work?

Your twin flame will “activate triggers” (not consciously or in purpose to hurt you), for you to understand the wounds you must heal on yourself — you do the same with your twin.

And mostly of this “wounds” come from the inner child. Normally (not a rule) both of the flames/mates have some equal wounds to heal on themselves.

There are some examples below:

Emotional Patterns

  • Overwhelming emotions: Difficulty managing strong emotions, such as anger, sadness, or fear.
  • People-pleasing: A constant need to be liked or approved of by others.
  • Perfectionism: An excessive need to be perfect or avoid mistakes.
  • Self-criticism: Harsh self-talk and negative self-beliefs.

Behavioral Patterns

  • Avoidance: Tendency to avoid uncomfortable situations or emotions.
  • Substance abuse: Using substances to cope with emotional pain.
  • Relationship difficulties: Struggles with forming or maintaining healthy relationships.
  • Difficulty setting boundaries: Overgiving or people-pleasing to avoid conflict.

Thought Patterns

  • Negative self-talk: Constantly putting yourself down or doubting your abilities.
  • Fear of abandonment: A deep-seated fear of being alone or unloved.
  • Feeling unworthy: Believing that you don’t deserve love, happiness, or success.

How can I heal my inner child?

Therapy, self-care practices, and connecting with supportive people can help you nurture your inner child and foster emotional well-being. Other thing that is very important is to develop your connection with yourself and with spirituality.

Spirituality is a topic often discussed but frequently misunderstood. Many people equate it with religion, bringing religious beliefs and biases into the conversation. While all religions emphasize spirituality as a core component of faith, it’s important to understand that spirituality can exist independently of organized religion. You can be ‘spiritual’ without adhering to a particular faith or being part of a religious community.

I can say, particularly that, after this joint of actions, my life improved a lot.

And when you work on your inner child, closer you are to the union with your twin flame.

Normally, the first one to do this work is the Divine Feminine, the Spiritual Twin (the one that discovers the connection). Later, the Divine Masculine, the rational one. And both can help directly on indirectly on helping your flame/mate.

If you have regular talks with your flame/mate, you can directly work together on your wounds. If not, work on your own wounds. This will reflect on your situation.

Let the fears go away and embrace fully this journey.
